The Yacht Race.

We are very excited that our resident fundraiser Josh will be taking part in the round Ireland Race, this is around a 5 day race sailing round the entire coast line of Ireland, competing against 50+ other boats, a true race of endurance!

All money raised will go directly to the amazing and vital work that Live at Home do on the Isle of Man. Live at Home work with older adults across the island to reduce and eliminate isolation and loneliness. We take people out on trips for lunch, to the theatre and more. We also have a 1-1 befriending service where volunteers provide time to talk and reduce loneliness.

Any donations will go along way to support the work we do and improve the lives of the 500+ people we work with.

We also have social outings where we take people out to lunches and activities such as bingo and theater trips. The money donated will go towards all we do with our members, this will include being used to fund trips and keep our minibus on the road. This means your money will be used to directly impact people who look forward every week to coming out and socializing, as for some people this is the only time in the week they get to socialize. Josh and the rest of the race crew hope to complete the race in around 5 days which will involve sailing around the entire coast of Ireland racing against 50+ other boats.
